VIRGINIA BEACH — Harry Lee Cannon, 80, of 4142 Bonney Road, a retired certified 
public accountant, died Saturday in Holmes Convalescent Center.
He was born in Norfolk and worked for D. D. Jones trucking firm of Norfolk for 
many years. He also was a former Scoutmaster. He was a member of Oaklette United 
Methodist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Helen C. DeFord of Virginia Beach and Mrs. 
Kathrine C. Wickre of Skippers, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to Kellum Funeral Home, formerly Simiele Funeral Chapel, for a 
funeral Thursday at 3 p.m. in Elm-wood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Lee Seville.
