Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. John J. Doherty, pastor of the church. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang very sweetly as a solo, "Face to Face.” There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes. The interment was in St Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Wm. M. Hannan, James O’Rourke, James V. Trehy, James E. Prince, John F. Lawler, W. J. Greene, John R. Coleman and A. P. Pannell.
