Cannon — Funeral services for Mrs. Cannon, widow of Michael J. Cannon, who died Saturday morning at a local hospital, were held at 11 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul V. Heller officiating. The Rev. E. P. Kilgalen, the Rev. P. C. Blackburn and the Rev. T. P. Scannell were present in the sanctuary. Several selections were played on the organ during the service by J. Harvey Stevens. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of red roses, calla lilies and fern. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by the Rev. E. P. Kilgalen. Pallbearers were A. Plummer Pannell, George Proescher, J. W. Edwards, Stanleigh Jones, E. J. Ryan. Dr. Emmett J. Lawler, S. E. Tillett and Eric Lancaster. In his address at the conclusion of the Mass, Father Heller praised the Christian life and character of Mrs. Cannon and her devotion to her church.
