Woodhouse, 922 Norview avenue, last night at 8:45 o'clock after an illness of four months. She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, widow of Edward J. Cannon and daughter of William and Ann Burnham Stevens. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Woodhouse, she is survived by a son, Deputy Fire Chief E.J. Cannon, of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Mrs. Elroy C. Lee, Miss Dorothy L. Cannon and Beth Clark Woodhouse, all of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Ida Jacobs, of Hampton, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church and the Three Score and Ten Club. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro, 631 Westover avenue, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The Rev. Sparks W. Melton D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
