Edward Canoles, aged 82, died at a local hospital this morning at 7:30 o’clock. 
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs G.H. Dodson, of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. 
J.G. Grey and Mrs. J.W. Davenport, of Norfolk; one son, E.T. Canoles, of 
Norfolk; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services conducted 
by the Rev. L.E. Smith, of Christian Temple, will be held from the funeral home 
of Hollomon & Brown, 1801 Granby Street, Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. The 
services will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
