Capps, who suffered a stroke of paralysis on his entire left side nearly two weeks ago, died at his residence, Granville and Highland avenues, Brambleton, Sunday morning at 6:30 o’clock in the 65th year of his age. He leaves four sons and one daughter. The funeral took place from the residence at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon and was largely attended, a delegation from Friendship conclave No. 2, Heptasophs, or S. W. M., of which the deceased was a member, being present. The service was conducted by the Rev. Dr. J. J. Hall, of the Park Avenue Baptist church. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery. The pallbearers were selected from the Heptasophs as follows: E. O. Dean, R. R. Pitt, J. O. Pitt, R. D. Williamson, E. W. Bray and H. W. Weiland. There was a handsome display of floral tributes.
