Virginian Pilot July 28, 1961

Mrs. Effie L. Capps, 76, widow of Robert D. Capps and a daughter of Edward and 
Mrs. Annie Boole Lilliston, died Thursday at 10 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Northampton County, she lived in Norfolk 45 years, lately at 2800 
Vincent Ave.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Annie L. McCoy of Norfolk, and one grandchild.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  The body was taken to H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments.

CAPPS, EFFIE L. - At a local hospital, Thursday, July 27th, 1961, at 10 p.m., 
EFFIE L. CAPPS, widow of Robert D. Capps and daughter of the late Edward and 
Annie Boole Lilliston, in the 77th year of her age.  Services at the H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 p.m.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.  Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
