                  DENNIS M. CAPPS DIES AFTER A LONG LIFE

Dennis M. Capps, for many years a resident of Norfolk, who had been in feeble 
health for some time, died at his home, No. 712 Tunstall Avenue, Brambleton, at 
8:40 o'clock a.m. yesterday in the 61st year of his age.  He is survived by a 
set of children, two sons and four daughters, as follows: E.E. Capps, J.D. 
Capps, Mrs. J.D. Norris and Mrs. B.S. Payne, all of Norfolk; Mrs. B.J. Mezzinson 
and Mrs. William Murden, of Princess Anne County.  The funeral will take place 
from the Queen Street Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member, at 
4:30 o'clock this afternoon and will be attended by the Odd Fellows and Junior 
Order United American Mechanics, of which organizations Mr. Capps was a member.
