Virginian Pilot August 17, 1905

Mrs. Jakey F. Capps, wife of D.M. Capps, died at her home, No. 712 Tunstall 
Avenue, Brambleton, at 11:20 a.m. yesterday in the 61st year of her age.  
Besides her husband she is survived by six children - Mrs. D.J. Meginson, of 
Hampton, Mrs. B.S. Payne, of Virginia Beach, Mrs. J.O. Norris, of Norfolk, Mrs. 
W.J. Murden, of Princess Anne County and Messrs. J.D. Capps and E.E. Capps of 
Norfolk.  The funeral will be announced later.

CAPPS - At her residence, 712 Tunstall Avenue, Wednesday, August 16th, 1905, at 
11:20 a.m., JAKEY F., beloved wife of D.M. Capps, in the 61st year of her age.
The funeral will take place from the Queen Street M.E. Church, THIS (Thursday) 
AFTERNOON, August 17th at 4 p.m.  Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited 
to attend.
