HOME FIRE KINSTON, N.C. - Two persons were killed in a predawn fire here Saturday. The victims were Mrs. Anne Hood Capps, 51, wife of J. Talbot Capps of Norfolk and Capps' 76-year-old cousin, Mrs. Donna Jenkins. Capps is a member of the Lenoir County Board of Education and operator of three Kinston business firms. He owns a home in Norfolk at 1709 Hampton Blvd. A funeral service for Mrs. Capps will be held today at 3 p.m. in Spillman Memorial Baptist Church in Kinston. Survivors of Mrs. Capps include her mother, Mrs. Lucy Sanders Hood of Kinston; three sons, John T. of Kinston, James of Boling Green, Ohio and Lee Hood Capps of Chapel Hill; a foster son, Ronald Henry of Kinston; a foster daughter, Mrs. James Weathers of Kinston; three sisters, Mrs. A.D. Hobgood of Meherhin, Mrs. W.E. Brewer of Pink Hill, N.C. and (Mrs) R.W. Procter Jr. of Scotia, N.Y. and a brother, John C. Hood Jr. of Kinston; and three grandchildren.
