Virginian Pilot October 3, 1902 ******************************************************************************** IN MEMORIAM In Memory of Wm. E. CAPPS, Who Died on Tuesday Evening, September 30th, 1902 Good-bye, Brother, precious loved one; We are sad and lonely here, But we soon shall hope to meet Thee Where there'll be no bitter tears. Thou hast borne thy burden, Brother; Without murmuring or fear, Trusting only in the Saviour, Who is always kind and near. We know, Brother, that thy pathway Has been paved with loving deeds; And that Jesus measures kindness By the fruitage of the seed. Thou has gone where there's no sorrow; No more sickness, pain or fear; Where our loved ones dwell in Glory, And weep naught but joyful tears. Every one who knew thee, Learned to love thee tenderly, And we pray they all may meet thee In the Blest Eternity. Fare thee well, our darling Willie! We shall meet thee bye-and-bye. When our Lord will heal our troubles, And will wipe our weeping tears. By WALTER W.
