Capps died at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the family residence, Bayside, Princess Anne County. He was 65 years old. He is survived by two sons, R.T. Capps of Norfolk and J.L. Capps of Chadbourn, N.C. and one daughter, Mrs. N.C. Reid of Norfolk. The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of his son, R.T. Capps 240 West Thirtieth Street, Park Place. Services will be conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson of Park Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. ******************************************************************** The funeral of John W. Capps occurred at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, R.T. Capps, 240 West Thirtieth Street, Park Place. Services were conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson of Park Avenue Baptist Church. A large number of beautiful floral designs were received. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were O.L. West, W.P. Boyce, W.W. Williamson, W.J. Fitchett and B.H. Evans.
