Capps, widow of Fulton Capps, died Sunday evening at 7:15 o'clock, at the residence, No. 719 Olney Road. Mrs. Capps who was a native of Virginia and had resided in Norfolk more than fifty years was well known and highly esteemed. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. George W. Buck, Mrs. Olivia C. Collins, Mrs. Indiana Godwin and Mrs. Alice P. Osborne, all of Norfolk and a brother, Robert T. James, of Bedford City, Va. The funeral will take place from the residence Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock and the services will be conducted by Rev. J.L. Bray, pastor of Cumberland Street M.E. Church, of which Mrs. Capps was a member, assisted by Rev. F.L. Wells, pastor of Ghent M.E. Church. The interment will take place privately in Elmwood Cemetery.
