Norfolk Virginian Pilot May 30, 1944

CAPPS, OVANDA BEDFORD - At the residence, 244 West Twenty-ninth Street, Monday, 
May 29, 1944, at 6:40 o'clock a.m., OVANDA BEDFORD CAPPS, son of the late Dennis 
and Nancy Williams Capps, in the 87th year of his age. Funeral services will be 
conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home TOMORROW (Wednesday) AFTERNOON, 
May 31, 1944, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment Elmwood Cemetery.

Ovanda Bedford Capps - Funeral services for Mr. Capps, who died Monday, were 
conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home yesterday afternoon by Dr. 
Henry W. Tiffany, pastor of the Park Place Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were O.S. Chaplin, W.T. McDonald, H.E., R.C., W.B., J.C. and F.J. 
Munden and Cecil Brock.
Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery,
