The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 3, 1955
Mrs. Mary (Mollie) Henley Capps, 81, widow of William E. Capps, died at the 
residence, 1414 Lafayette Boulevard, yesterday at 6:15 p.m.  She is survived by 
a daughter, Mrs. M. Viola Jones, two (grand)daughters, Mrs. R.M. Norris and 
Miss Anne Virginia Capps, all of Norfolk, and three great-grandchildren.  Mrs. 
Capps was a native of Princess Anne County, and had been a resident of Norfolk 
for 75 years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Wesley Memorial 
Methodist Church, of which she was a member, for funeral services tomorrow at 3 
p.m.  The body will lie in state an hour prior to the services.  Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
