The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 18, 1948
Robert D. Capps, 70, husband of Mrs. Effie Lilliston Capps and son of the late 
Dennis and Mrs. Chloe Fulford Capps, a lifelong resident of this section, died 
at the residence, 3109 Lyons Avenue, yesterday at 5:55 p.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Annie L. McCoy; a 
grandson, Richard McCoy; one sister, Mrs. Mary Smith, all of Norfolk, and a 
brother, Edward Capps of Missouri.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
