NORFOLK — Rocco Milano Aloysius Caprio, 74, of 1164 W. Ocean View Ave., a native 
of Philadelphia and the husband of Mrs. Virginia Rithie Caprio, died Sunday in a 
hospital.

He was a retired supervisory foreman for gas construction for Virginia Electric & 
Power Co. with 45 years’ service and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Fourth-Degree Knights of Columbus 3548, Order of the Alhambra, and Ocean View 
Democratic Club.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Linda Caprio Lane of Norfolk; a son, 
Joseph Rocco Caprio of West Point; a sister, Mrs. Sam J. Russo of Portsmouth; a 
brother, Michael J. Caprio of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. and four grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service 
will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
