Mary Katheryne Caraco, 62, passed away on April 5, 2018. She was born in 
Portsmouth, VA to the late Harold & Arlyne Evans.
Mary grew up on Old Ocean View Rd. in Norfolk, VA. Mary loved animals and leaves 
behind her companion, Bella. She liked to go to her neighbor's houses and sneak on 
their horses with her sisters, bring in injured animals and care for them, and 
show off her skills on the softball field. In her later years she dearly enjoyed 
soaking up the sun at cookouts with her family and absolutely enjoyed the playful 
times with all the grandkids. Her tough spirit, hard love and sweet soul will 
dearly be missed. She is free from her chains and with the Lord in peace.
Mary is survived by her husband, Henry Caraco; 2 sons, Eric Caraco and Sunny 
Caraco & his wife Danielle; 4 grandchildren, Walter McMicheal, Sunny Caraco, Jr., 
Jayla Caraco and Ziggy Caraco; 2 great grandchildren, Nathaniel McMicheal and 
Nicholas McMicheal, 2 sisters, Christy and Pam; along with extended family members 
and friends.
The funeral service will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel 
at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, followed by burial at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-
