Virginian Pilot August 20, 1985

Augusta R. Carballo Sr. of 944 Pollard Street, a native of Norfolk, died 
Monday in a hospital.
Survivors include his father, Francisco Carballo; a daughter, Tonya Carballo 
of Oakland, Calif.; two sons, Frederick Carballo of Baltimore, Md. and 
Augusta R. Carballo Jr. of Richmond; a sister, Mattie Beamon of New Haven, 
Conn.; four brothers, Frank Carballo, Willie L. Carballo Sr. and Eugene W. 
Carballo Sr., all of Virginia Beach and Charles N. Carballo Sr. of Norfolk; 
and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Jones Funeral by Dr. 
Mildred Watts.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
