Virginian-Pilot, December 21, 1932
Thomas David Cardow, chief Petty officer, U. S. Navy, age 43, died Sunday, 
December 4. Mr. Cardow is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olivia H. Cardow, of 
Norfolk; his mother, Mrs. H. Milbourn; a brother, W. W. Cardow, of 
Connecticut , and a sister, Mrs. A. L. McDonnell, of Seattle, Wash. The body 
will arrive this morning over the Pennsylvania Railroad at 8:30 o'clock and 
will be conveyed to the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby Street, where funeral 
services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
