NORFOLK - Mrs. Helene Cardow, 69, died in a Norfolk hospital Sunday at 10 p.m. a
after a long illness.
A native of Winston-Salen, N. C., she had spend most of her life in Norfolk, re
residing at 3702 Peterson St. She was the widow of Thomas Cardow.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Oscar Carter of Milton, N.C., and a niece, Mrs. V
Vera Garabedian of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Derry-Twiford 
Funeral Home by the Rev. B. T. Price of the Campostella Methodist Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
