Cardozo, aged 71, died Wednesday night at 11 o'clock at his home, 1118 Brambleton Avenue, after an illness of four months. He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, a member of Norfolk Lodge No. 163, F.O. Eagles, and the Cigarmakers' Union. Mr. Cardozo was a son of the late Charles Pembroke and Millinda Anne Cardozo, of Washington, D.C. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Katie Barrett Cardozo; five daughters, Mrs. Charles M. Cake and Mrs. Charles A. Duncan, of Washington; Mrs. G. Miller Morgan, Mrs. Sam H. Halbert and Mrs. May Hutchins, of Norfolk; a son, Walter C. Cardozo, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. John Bain and Mrs. Nannie Sledge, of Washington and a brother, Albert Cardozo, of Washington. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
