Cardozo, whose death occurred Sunday, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. A. J. Taylor, officiating. The Rev. E. A. Brosnan, the Rev. E. L. Stephens, the Rev. P. P. Brennan and the Rev. R. B. Lesley were present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Taylor paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased, and to her devotion to her church. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang “In the Hour of Trial,” with E. J. Doran, organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, roses, sweet peas and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were George M. Hepple, James Henley, John A. Butt, J. T. Holland, Charles Holland and J. Watts Martin.
