Mrs. Sarah Carey - Funeral services for Mrs. Cary of 604 Fluvanna street were
held Thursday, Sept. 8, at the First Baptist Church, Berkley, at 2 p.m., with
the Rev. J. C. Diamond officiating.

Mrs. Carey is survived by her husband, Wadell Carey;  a son, Clyde West of New
York City;  a brother, Stanley Holmes of Norfolk;  two sisters.

She was a member of the United Order of Tents, the order of Eastern Star and the
First Baptist Church.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home directing.
