Virginian Pilot January 2, 1910

Mrs. A. Carey, widow of T.P.S. Carey, died at the residence of her son, T.J. 
Carey, 1001 Stockley Gardens, Ghent, at 12:30 o'clock p.m. yesterday, after a 
brief illness, in the 80tth year of her age. The deceased was a native of 
Ireland, but had been a resident of Norfolk for over a half century, where she 
was widely known and universally esteemed. She is survived by two daughters, 
Misses Lydia M. and Rachel M. Carey and two sons, T.J. and L.V. Carey. The 
funeral will be held from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 o'clock 
a.m.

Saturday, January 1, 1910, at 12:30 o'clock p.m., MARGARET A., widow of T. P. S. 
Carey, in the 80th year of her age.
Funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church MONDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

                      MRS. MARGARET A. CAREY.
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret A. Carey, widow of the late T. P. S. Carey, was 
held from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 o'clock yesterday morning.  The 
service was conducted by Rev. Father Holbleib.  The interment was in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.  Following were the pallbearers: C. S. Aydlette, Joseph Seelinger, 
John F. Lawler, C.L. Foster, J.J. Lawler, Steve O'Connor, John R. Coleman and E. 
L. Guy.
