Louis Vincent Carey — Funeral services for Mr. Carey, who died Friday morning at a 
local hospital, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, with the Rev. Paul V. Heller officiating. The subject of his address at 
the conclusion of the mass was "Life Everlasting." The Rev. E. P. Kilgalen and the 
Rev. T. P. Scannell were present in the sanctuary. During the service several 
selections were played on the organ by J. Harvey Stevens. There was a large 
attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter 
lilies and fern.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by the 
Rev. Mr. Kilgalen. The pallbearers were George W. Mayo, James M. Johnson, A. A. 
Nelson, Dr. S. O. Bennett, Neff Salomonsky, Jonathan Old, John D. Fritzinger and 
Charles B. Carroll.
