A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he had been associated with the Seaboard Bank for many years as teller. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. His father, Louis V. Carey, died some years ago. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Margaret Barrett Carey; two sisters, Miss Margaret F. Carey and Mrs. Virginia C. Coffman; one brother, Richard S. Carey, and one niece, Miss Mary Stuart Coffman, all of Norfolk. The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. *************************************************************** Louis Vincent Carey, Jr. — Funeral services for Mr. Carey, who died Thursday, were conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas M. Summers. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Winston H. Irwin, Tazewell Taylor Jr., Charles H. McCoy, Victor L. Howell, J. Baldwin Smith, James R. Land, H. Jack Darden and John B. Davis.
