NORFOLK - Mrs. Carmela Dinofa Carleo, of 1015 Woodrow Ave., died in a hospital 
Sunday.

She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.

She was a widow of Vincent Carleo and a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mrs. 
Mary Ruggieri Dinofa.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was formerly employed at Dolly & Bobby Shoppe on Colley Avenue.

She is survived by a daughter, Miss Pasqualina (Pat) Carleo, and a son, Vincent A. 
Carleo, both of Norfolk; five sisters, Mrs. Pasquale Arcese and Mrs. Joseph
Arcese of Portsmouth, Mrs. Joseph Vita, Mrs. Pearl Panella and Mrs. Amelia Madison 
of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.

The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 
7:30.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
