The Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 12, 1951
Mrs. Florence Winingder Carmine, widow of John S. Carmine and daughter of 
Stephen and Mary Jane Frazier Winingder, lifelong resident of Norfolk, died 
yesterday at 6:25 a.m. at the residence, 156 Orleans Circle.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Mary E. Gallup, Miss Emily M. Gallup, Mrs. 
Paul Sykes and Miss Florence Carmine, of Norfolk; two sons, A.W. Gallup, of 
Norfolk, and W. Henry Gallup, of South Norfolk; four grandchildren and two 
sisters, Mrs. Blanche Mayo and Mrs. Josie Campbell, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the residence to the First Methodist Church, of 
which she was a member, for funeral services tomorrow at 3 p.m. by the Rev. T. 
Roy Jarrett, pastor.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
