NORFOLK — Florence Lynette Carmine, 77, of the 100 block of Orleans Circle, a 
retired schoolteacher, died March 12,1986, in Norfolk. Miss Carmine, a Norfolk 
native, taught first and second grades in Norfolk public schools for 41 years. 
She was a member of the Retired Teachers’ Association and First Methodist 
Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two sisters, Emily N. Gallup and Alberta C. Sykes, both of 
Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Methodist Church by 
the Rev. Harry Spear. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & Williams, 
Norfolk, is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence.
