Virginian-Pilot September 12, 1969
NORFOLK — Mrs. Ruby Davis Carmine, 91, of 918 Colonial Ave., the widow of Miles 
E. Carmine and daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Martha Deloache Davis, died in a 
hospital Wednesday.
A native of Conway, N.C., she lived here a number of years.
She was a member of the Extension Department of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Willie L. Davis of Conway, N.C.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Road, to 
Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service today at 4 p.m.
The family will be at the home of a niece, Mrs. Katie Harris of 507 Oaklette 
Drive, Chesapeake.
