Carnahan, aged 61 years, a native of Nansemond County, died Tuesday morning at 2 o'clock at Keysport, N.J. where he had lived for 30 years. He was a son of the late James and Mrs. Margaret Babb Carnahan, of Nansemond County, where he lived until 30 years ago, when he made his home in New Jersey. He is survived by an only daughter, Mrs. Alice Somorell and a sister, Mrs. J.T. Scarborough, both of this city. The body will arrive here this morning via the N.Y., P. & N. for funeral and burial, the time of which will be announced later. ****************************************************************** The funeral of James T. Carnahan, whose death occurred at Keysport, N.J., Tuesday morning, December 7, after a brief illness, in the sixty-second year of his age, was conducted at the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. R.D. Stephenson, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery and the pallbearers were A.S. Grinalds, N.G. Holland, J.T. Scarborough, Joseph Rogers, S.T. Barnes and D.F.
