Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 11, 1936
CARPENTER, DAVID – At a local hospital, Thursday, December 10th, 1936, at 2:15 
o’clock p.m., DAVID, husband of Laura O’Neill Carpenter, and son of the late 
Andrew and Mary A. Carpenter, in the 76th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, Nos. 610-612 East 
Freemason street, to Freemason Street Baptist Church for services SATURDAY 
AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, 
Elmwood Cemetery.
