Carpenter and daughter of Mrs. Virginia Williamson Cox and the late Dr. Isaac Cox, of Franklin, Va., aged 56 years. The remains will arrive here THURSDAY MORNING and will be taken to the grave in Magnolia Cemetery from the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox for burial at 10 o'clock a.m. Friends of the family are respectfully invited. ********************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca Wilmot Carpenter took place Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the family residence, 71 Fayerweather Street, Cambridge, Mass., and was conducted by Dr. Calkins of Shepherd Memorial M.E. Church. The interment was in Magnolia yesterday at 1:30 o'clock, on the arrival of the Merchants and Miners steamer from Boston, bearing the body. The pallbearers were J.C. Simpson, L.C. Ives, Fran Williamson, Nat Williamson, W.M. Tilley, W.L. Moore. The service at the grave was conducted by Rev. E.T. Dadmun. The floral tributes were beautiful.
