The Virginian Pilot Sunday June 22, 1969
Mrs. Willie Mae Flemming Carr, 77, of 4516 Newport Ave., died in a hospital 
Saturday at 8:45 a.m.
A native of the Berkley section, she lived in the Norfolk area all of her 
life.
She was the widow of Alonzo Barnes Carr and a daughter of William Judson and 
Mrs. Sarah Frances Gilbert Flemming.
She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Annie Judson Flemming Luke of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from Cox Funeral Home to Magnolia Cemetery for a 
funeral service today at 3 p.m. by Dr. Owen T. Kelly of Epworth Methodist 
Church.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Heart 
Fund.
