Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch April 7, 1924
Funeral services for James Kenny Carr, Jr., infant son of Mrs. and Mrs. J. K. 
Carr, 2186 Ohio avenue, who died Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, were held 
yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence. Rev. R. J. Dogan, pastor of 
Spurgeon Memorial Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery. The 
child was one year and 11 months old, and is survived by his parents, a brother 
and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. V. McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Hall.
