Charlotte (NC) Observer September 14, 1986
Mrs. Mae Manson Carr, 85, of Charlotte, died Sept. 13, 1986, at Charlotte Memorial 
Hospital. Funeral is 1 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, 
Va. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Harry and Bryant Funeral Home is 
in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Carr was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in 
Virginia Beach. She had lived in Charlotte for four years.
Survivors are her son, James Carr, Jr. of Tega Cay, S.C.; daughter, Mrs. Leila 
Freeman of Houston; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 7 to 8 tonight at Hollomon-Brown.
