DEATHS
MICHAEL JOSEPH CARR, aged 51, husband of Mrs. Sallie M. Carr and son of the late 
Patrick and Mrs. Mary Cunningham Carr, a native of Washington, D. C., and for many 
years a resident of Norfolk, died at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at a local 
hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie M. Carr and one daughter, Mrs. 
C. T. Lamb.

Services will be held in the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, this afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Thomas Walsh, of St. 
Mary's Catholic Church, officiating.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
