The Virginian Pilot January 25, 1955


Mrs. Virginia Laylor Carrick, 92 widow of Charles H. Carrick and daughter of Samu
Samuel B. and Mrs. Anne Beck Laylor, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 1:25
1:25 p.m.
She is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Carrick was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, a member of Christ and St. Lu
Luke’s Episcopal Church and resided with Mrs. Richard L. Allgood, 712 West 26th St
Street.
Funeral services will be held at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 p
p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery
