Berkley - Funeral services for Cornell Carrington, thirteen year old son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Carrington of Berkley avenue, were held from the Mt. 
Zion Baptist Church Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Lee Freeman 
officiating.

Young Carrington died at the St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness 
Thursday morning.  He was a pupil of the Abraham Lincoln School and was well 
known in this community.

During the services a solo was rendered by Mrs. Ethel Beaman.  Burial was in 
the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
