Final rites were held at the Riddick Chapel on Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah 
Carroll, 69, of 738 E 28th street, who died at her home on Thursday.

A native of Surry County, she had lived in Norfolk 60 years, and was a 
member of the Gardenia Social and Savings Club. Her eulogy was delivered by 
the Rev. H. T. Myers, and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors are a foster son, Ralph Brooks of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Margaret B. Davidson of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Mrs. Lillian Payne of 
Norfolk; a brother, the Rev. Morris Carroll of Williamston NJ, and other 
relatives.
