NORFOLK — Jefferson (Jeff) Carroll, of 1263 W. 39th St. died Thursday at 11:15 
p.m. in his home.
A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Jefferson and Mrs. Ida Florence Grant 
Carroll.
He was a Baptist and a 48-year retired employee of the City of Norfolk.
He is survived by three brothers, George Carroll, Henry Carroll and William 
Carroll of Norfolk; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Wood of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Twiford Funeral Chapel, Colley 
Avenue, by the Rev. Ted Bashford with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
