NORFOLK - Leon Carroll Sr. of 762 Pulaski St. died Monday in his home.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Dorothy W. Carroll and 
a son of the late Robert and Mrs. Dicie Carroll.

He was retired from B&B Co.

Surviving are two sons, Jerry Lee Carroll and Leon Carroll Jr. of Norfolk; four 
stepsons, Roland Whitfield, Elliott Whitfield, and Melvin Whitfield of Norfolk 
and John Whitfield of New York; four daughters, JoAnn Carroll, Sylvia Carroll, 
and Dorothy Carroll of Norfolk and Joyce Carroll of New York; a stepdaughter, 
Mrs. Geraldine James of New York; 24 grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Leon Carroll of 778 Pulaski St. will be held 
Friday at 2 pm. in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be 
in Calvary Cemetery.
