NORFOLK — Claude Donovan Carroll, 58, of 859 West 47th St., died Sunday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Agnes Faychak Carroll. He was a retired 
electronics mechanic at the Norfolk Naval Air Rework Facility. He was an Army 
veteran of World War II.

Besides his widow, survivors include two sons, Chalon Francis Carroll and Donald 
Emerson Carroll, both of Norfolk.

A joyful mass of the resurrection will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Chapel, Colley Avenue. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held this evening at 7:30 in H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts.
