Carroll, will take place Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Carroll died early yesterday morning at the home of her son, Charles B. Carroll, 140 W. Ninth Street. She was 80 years old, a native of Ireland, and had lived in Norfolk 46 years. She was greatly esteemed. She is survived by one son, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McAllister of Philadelphia and Mrs. Ellen McMahon of Waterbury, Conn. ***************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth A. Carroll took place yesterday at St. Mary’s Catholic church at 3 p.m., conducted by Rev. George Dunn. The burial services in St. Mary's cemetery were conducted by Rev J. J. Doherty and Rev. M. J. Ahern of Old Point Comfort college. The services were largely attended and there were many floral offerings. "Lead Kindly Light" and "Abide With Me," were sung by Mrs. James Hughes. The pallbearers were William M. Hannan, John F. O’Connor, A. A. O'Brien, James A. Ridgewell, James J. Pendergrast, H. D. Oliver and James J. Brounly.
