The woman died without leaving any trace of her friends or possessions, and after a vain search for relatives or funds, the hospital authorities turned the body over to the city for burial. Yesterday the corpse had been taken to the pauper’s burial ground when the deed to the cemetery lot was found, in addition to a discovery that the woman had an insurance policy for a substantial sum of money. With the finding of the cemetery deed and the insurance policy, friends arranged with L. L. Williams, a local undertaker, to provide a more suitable burial, and the body was reclaimed from the city and taken to Mr. Williams’ funeral parlors, from where the funeral will be held today at 3 o’clock.
