Etheridge, Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, Mrs. REBECCA CARSON, widow of the late Robert Carson, Monday, August 22, 1904, at 2 p.m., aged 89 years. Funeral from residence THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends of the family invited to attend. ******************************************************************* The funeral of the late Mrs. Rebecca Carson, relict of the late Robert Carson, the latter killed in the war between the states, was conducted from the residence of her brother, Major William H. Etheridge, in South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The obsequies were conducted by Rev. J.K. Jolliff of Portsmouth and the attendance was quite large. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery and the floral designs were very beautiful and profuse. The pallbearers were Messrs. W.F. Etheridge, Mellie Etheridge, Carroll Williamson, Thomas W. Butt, F.P. Williamson, W.N. Williamson and R.L. Poindexter.
