NORFOLK — Mrs. Mary Wade Carson, of 2315 Shoop Ave., died in her home Wednesday.

She was the wife of Richard J. Carson and a daughter of the late Charles W. and 
Mrs. Sarah Wade Wilmoth.

A native of Richmond, she lived here 41 years. She was a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church.

She was a retired registered nurse and a graduate of St. Vincent Hospital School 
of Nursing.

Surviving, besides her husband, are several nieces and nephews and several great-
nieces and nephews.

The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, 
tonight at 8.

A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Friday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
