Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch June 25, 1918
The funeral of Mary Frances, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M> Carswell, took 
place yesterday afternoon at their residence, 533 West 37th street, and was 
conducted by Rev. R. A. William, D.D., of Park Place Baptist church, being largely 
attended. Mrs. E. M. Allen and Mrs. Alley sang, “Sleep, My Little One, Sleep.” 
There were many floral offerings. The burial was in Elmwood, the pallbearers being 
G. N. Bull, J. A. Turner, W. O. Bensley, H. R. Weaver
