The Virginian Pilot Friday January 22, 1960
George Davis Carter, 44, of 134 Filbert St., died Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. at his 
residence after a short illness.
He was a son of Randolph Carter and the late Mrs. Thelma Carter.  He was a 
native of Norfolk.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Carter, and one 
sister, Mrs. Helen Mason, of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted at Graves Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. with 
burial in Mount Olive Cemetery.
